AppalizeSaaS Appalize: an ASO SaaS for app teams, designed, built and run by ODEL
Appalize is a web SaaS for App Store Optimization that ODEL designed, built and runs. It puts keyword research, competitor tracking, an ASO editor that validates and applies metadata, screenshot workflows and Apple Ads automation in one workspace, with REST API and MCP access for AI assistants. The frontend is React with Vite and Tailwind, the marketing site is Next.js, and the backend is Node.js with Express, Prisma, PostgreSQL, Redis job queues and Stripe billing. It is the clearest proof that ODEL builds full SaaS products, not only mobile apps: accounts, plans, background jobs, third-party APIs and billing, run in production by the same developer who would build yours.

The problem
App teams that manage store growth often jump between a keyword tool, a competitor tracker, App Store Connect and Apple Ads. Moving keywords from research into a live listing is manual and error-prone. Appalize keeps research and execution in one web workspace.

What we learned
- Store and ads APIs are rate-limited, so slow work belongs in background job queues, not in web requests. A client SaaS that talks to third-party APIs should plan queues from the first version.
- Billing, plans and API limits are product features, not plumbing: they need their own scope, screens and tests.
- An MCP server lets AI assistants use the product directly. For a client SaaS this is worth considering early, because it reuses the same API.
