Can an iPhone app record the front and back cameras at once?
Yes, on iPhones that support multi-camera capture. Dualify does it in one take with picture-in-picture, 50/50 split or shaped frames, and its ReFrame feature changes the layout after recording. Device support has to be checked and stated in the scope.
What are Apple's rules for sending photos to an AI service?
Guideline 5.1.2(i) says you must clearly disclose where personal data is shared with third parties, including third-party AI, and get explicit permission before doing so. Anamur sends a photo to the AI provider only after the user consents.
How much does it cost to build this kind of app?
It depends on capture versus editing versus AI generation, supported devices and formats, a backend for AI jobs, purchase model, and iPhone only or both stores. ODEL quotes each project after a short discovery call, as a written scope with a fixed quote or a phased plan, and publishes no price list. For market context only: Clutch's 2026 pricing guide puts the most common app project budget at 10,000 to 49,999 USD (Clutch does not state its sample size), and a 2022 GoodFirms survey of 267 development firms put simple apps at 12,960 to 30,240 USD. Store costs come on top: Apple charges 99 USD a year and Google Play 25 USD once.
How long does it take to launch?
It depends on scope, how fast decisions get made and whether your store accounts are ready. The 2022 GoodFirms survey put simple apps at 3 to 7 weeks and complex ones at 8 to 14 weeks of development. Then add store time: Apple says it reviews 90% of submissions in under 48 hours, and new personal Google Play accounts must run a 14-day closed test with at least 12 testers before production. Camera and video features need testing on several iPhone models, and AI features need a backend and cost controls.
Why do some photo and cleaner apps get rejected?
Common reasons are misleading claims (guideline 2.3) and near-copies of existing apps (4.3). CleanMasterX removes only its own cache files and makes no RAM-boost claims, and it never deletes photos automatically: similar shots are grouped for the user to review.
What did ODEL learn from these apps?
Let people fix choices after the fact: Dualify's ReFrame changes layout without recording again. Credits sold as one-time purchases suit AI generation, where each image has a real cost, as in Anamur. And CleanMasterX sells Premium monthly, yearly or lifetime, with no weekly plan.
