# App Store launch and ASO: submission, store listings in many languages and keyword work

> ODEL sets up App Store Connect and Google Play, gets your app through review and writes keyword-led listings in many languages, using its own ASO platform, Appalize.

ODEL launches apps on the App Store and Google Play and does the App Store Optimization after: store setup in your own accounts, privacy answers, review notes, submission and replies to App Review, then keyword research, titles, subtitles, keyword fields, descriptions and screenshots in the languages your customers search in. The work is done by the developer who publishes ODEL's own 20 live apps, using Appalize, the ASO platform ODEL built and runs, for keyword data, competitor tracking and metadata checks. It fits founders whose app is built but not live, and apps that launched to few downloads. You keep full control: ODEL works as a team member in your App Store Connect and Play Console. Examples: ChairBook and BidCraft list in 43 store languages, Ozempre in 44, and DishBook in 16, all kept up to date by ODEL.

## Who it is for

- Founders with a finished app that is not on the stores yet
- Apps that launched and get few downloads from search
- Apps that sell in several countries but list only in English
- Developers who were rejected in App Review and need a second pair of hands

## When ODEL is not the right fit

- Paid user acquisition at scale (large ad budgets across many networks): a performance marketing agency fits better
- Apps that must be submitted under someone else's account: ODEL only publishes under the content owner's account, as Apple's template rule 4.2.6 expects
- Guaranteed rankings or download numbers: nobody can promise them honestly

## What you get

- Apple and Google account checklist: D-U-N-S, enrollment, team access
- App Store Connect and Play Console setup: categories, age rating, pricing, availability
- App Privacy details and Google Play Data safety answers
- Review notes and a demo account for App Review
- Keyword research and a written keyword plan per market
- Title, subtitle, keyword field and description in each target language
- Screenshot captions and sets for the required device sizes
- Submission, replies to App Review and release
- Ranking check after launch and listing updates

## How the project runs

1. **Account check**: We confirm the app sits in your Apple and Google accounts and that ODEL has team access. If it lives in someone else's account, we plan the transfer first.
2. **Review readiness**: Privacy policy, support link, account deletion, permission texts and demo account, checked against the issues Apple lists as most common.
3. **Keyword plan**: Keyword research in Appalize for each market: popularity, difficulty and what competitors rank for.
4. **Listings and screenshots**: Metadata written in each language, not machine-copied from English, and screenshots that show real screens.
5. **Submit and follow up**: Submission, replies to review, release, then ranking checks and listing updates.

## Questions

### How likely is my app to be rejected by Apple?

Rejection is common and usually fixable. Apple's 2024 transparency report, as reported by MacRumors in 2025, counted about 1.93 million rejected submissions out of 7.77 million, and 295,109 apps were approved after the developer revised them. Apple says over 40 percent of unresolved issues relate to guideline 2.1, App Completeness: crashes, placeholder content, broken links and missing demo accounts.

### How long does App Review take?

Apple says it reviews at least 50 percent of submissions in under 24 hours and 90 percent in under 48 hours. Google Play's timing varies, and new personal Play accounts need a 14-day closed test with 12 testers before production.

### Can you submit my app under your account?

No. The app goes out under your own developer account. Apple guideline 4.2.6 says apps made from templates or app generation services are rejected unless submitted by the provider of the app's content, and apps in fields such as banking, health or gambling must come from the legal entity offering the service.

### Does ASO cost much and what does it include?

It depends on the number of markets and languages and whether screenshots are included. ODEL quotes after reviewing your app and goals. The work covers keyword research, title, subtitle and keyword field, descriptions, screenshots and follow-up updates, done with Appalize data.

### What do I need to set up a company developer account?

For Apple: a legal entity, a free D-U-N-S number (allow up to 5 business days), signing authority, a work email on your domain and a public website; the program costs 99 USD per year. For Google: 25 USD one time, and a D-U-N-S number for an organization account.
