# Cluekin vs Alias - Team Word Challenge

> Choose Alias - Team Word Challenge if you want a free app with a large built-in word list and host controls for timer, points, penalties and skips; choose Cluekin if you want card packs by theme, separate family and party modes, more languages and an Android version. Both are offline team games where one player explains a word and their team guesses before the timer ends. Alias's listing says it has 5,000+ words and phrases, from kid-friendly to expert sets, and it contains ads. Cluekin supports 2 to 6 teams with adjustable timers, pass limits and scoring, and optional packs such as Geography, Film & Series, Music and Child. Free Cluekin players may see ads; a one-time Complete Pack removes them. Both apps are new with few ratings.
