Dualify vs Dualgram
Which is better, Dualify or Dualgram?
Choose Dualgram if you want the two original camera feeds saved as separate files, a teleprompter or an Apple Watch app; choose Dualify if you want to change the layout after recording or export 9:16 and 16:9 versions of one take together. Both apps record the front and back cameras in one take, offer picture-in-picture and split layouts, and list up to 4K at 60fps, with the frame rate depending on the iPhone model. Dualgram saves three files per recording, the combined video plus both originals, and needs iOS 17 or later. Dualify adds shaped frames, ReFrame for switching layout and output format after shooting, and lens control (0.5x, 1x, telephoto) on supported devices, and runs on iOS 16.4 or later. Dualify's Dual Format export needs Dualify Pro; Dualgram's teleprompter is a Pro feature.

Questions
Does Dualgram save the front and back videos separately?
Yes. Dualgram saves the combined video plus both original camera files. Dualify saves one merged file, or 9:16 and 16:9 versions together with Dual Format (Pro).
Can I change the picture-in-picture layout after recording?
In Dualify, yes: ReFrame switches the layout and output format after shooting. Dualgram does not list a post-recording layout change, but its separate original files can be re-edited in another video editor.
Do Dualify and Dualgram both record 4K at 60fps?
Both list up to 4K at 60fps. In both apps what you actually get depends on your iPhone model, because dual-camera capture is limited by the hardware.
